It’s advisable to pound the chicken until it attains an even thickness. This makes it easier to handle and cook. Once you get done, you can do away with the plastic bag.
Place the chicken on a chopping board and slice it into thick sizable strips. Use one of your suitable knives, perhaps the chef’s knife, to cut it into thin strips. After you’ve finished, you can place the pieces in a bowl and wash the cutting board you used.
2. Marinate the Chicken
If you have plenty of time, you can marinate your chicken for 30 minutes. You can achieve this by mixing the chili powder and minced garlic in the bowl containing the chicken. Squeeze lime juice in and a little oil. Afterward, you can cover the bowl as you prepare other meals. You can do this the day before and leave it overnight.
The marinating process is optional. If you are short of time but still want to prepare the chicken fajita on a wok, you can skip the marinating process.

Cut the onion and put it in a bowl, same to the peppers in a separate one. The best peppers for a great taste are always yellow or red ones. In turn, when you use green peppers, you get less flavor or taste.
Peel 3 to 4 cloves of garlic, then smash them using the chef’s knife. You can mince them to a smaller size by cutting them across severally. Take the minced garlic and add to the bowl with peppers.

To know if the oil is ready, you can add a few drops of water into the oil; you know it’s ready when it sizzles. Add the sliced onion and stir with a wooden spoon until brown and soft. To make sure your onions don’t burn, you reduce the amount of heat.

You can add a pinch of salt all through to get it nicely seasoned. Afterward, you can transfer the veggies to a plate as you prepare to cook the chicken.

Please leave it to cook for 5 minutes, then flip it on the other side o that it cooks too. When it’s finally cooked, you can no add the veggies to the chicken and stir them together. Keep in mind, and a wok has enough room to accommodate all this. At this point, you squeeze some lime juice on top of everything to get the flavor you need.
